Using Photography to Drive Social Change

Last week, I took the stage to speak at my first photography conference.

Pix 2015 was an amazing event full of inspiring speakers, great photographers and enough photography gear to make your head spin.

Samsung was a Gold Sponsor of the event and brought several of us Imageloggers out to Seattle to take part in the event.

Kicking off the second day of the event was little old me with a talk encouraging photographers to use their talents and image to drive social change in the world around them.

I'm really happy with how the talk went. It was developed specifically for this event and I'm thinking of expanding it for future events because there was more I wanted to cover, but only had twenty minutes on that day.

Major kudos to the team from Digital Photography Review for putting on such a great show in their first year. I've been a fan of their site for years, so being able to meet the team behind the site was a lot of fun for me.
