Checking In

The holidays are a busy time in all of our lives and I'm no different, but wanted to quickly check in to let everyone know I'm alive and what I've been up to.

YSN has been keeping me busy. I'm truly blessed to work with such a passionate and dedicated team.

While scheduling meetings around the globe makes for some weird call times, I'm really excited with how our SUBWAY® Global Challenge is currently going. If you haven't signed up to build your store yet, please do.

You might not believe it, but I've also been shooting more photos lately. As a Samsung Imagelogger I'm expected to shoot and share photos every week so I've been carrying one of their cameras with me everywhere.

I'm looking forward to taking them on some upcoming trips after the Galaxy NX performed so well in Istanbul.

The above photo of Mustang watching the snow fall the other day is too good not to share. Amazing what you can do with a zoom lens to get close to a pet who doesn't want to be disturbed.

Some of you have asked about the beard I've been sporting in recent photos and it just a matter of wanting to try something new.

Emily has always wanted me to grow a beard and when I noticed that I had no speaking engagements scheduled for December, I thought it would be the perfect time. Laura isn't a fan and there is more white in it than I thought there would be, but I'm kind of digging it. It'll be gone soon enough.

NMX is the next event on my schedule and I'm looking forward to my yearly trip to Las Vegas to reconnect with many friends and to once again share what I know with the attendees.

Besides all that, things are well. The kids are doing well in school, Laura is busy with a huge new project at work and I continue to wake up every morning.

Life is good. I'm making sure to smile every day no matter what.
