Off the Grid Recharging

I set this post to go live after I had already left. Right now I'm truly off the grid with my dad spending some time recharging in my cathedral of the pines.

We use to go and do something every year and haven't in several, so a few months back we locked this week on our calendars and it was worth more to me than gold. Instead of a canoe or camping trip like we usually do, we are just heading to a favorite spot in New England and enjoy time together away from everything else.

Best part? No cell phone service or internet. Ahhh...
