Help Make This Week Amazing

Minutes ago I was notified that the copies of Amazing Things Will Happen that I had ordered from various online book sellers have begun to ship.

That is awesome news and it means it is now officially the time I need YOUR help.

Just like with movies or music, the opening week of a book is an extremely important one. The more physical copies a book sells, the more attention it gets from the media, book stores and the general public.

Here is how you can help me have an amazing week.

• If you bought an eBook copy, please purchase a hardcover version. I promise you that there is someone on your holiday list that would love to receive it if you don't want to keep it for yourself.
• Bulk order copies of the book. I believe that it would make a great gift for your team or department at work and discounts start with as few as 10 copies and increase with the more you buy. I can confirm that 48 books fit in a single box.
• Go to your local bookstore and order a copy of the book or buy from what they have in stock. Encourage indie bookstores to start carrying it.
• Surprise a friend by ordering them a copy! Amazon, Barnes & Noble and almost all other online retailers will allow you to purchase a copy and have it shipped directly to someone else. Doesn't everyone like surprises?
• Once you've read the book leave a review and let others know what you thought of it.
• Tweet and share this post or direct links to buy the book on all the social networks you frequent. If you want it to be easier to find use #AmazingThingsWillHappen so that others (and myself) can find them.
• Donate a tweet or status update to my Thunderclap on December 4th.
• Bloggers, I'd love for you to post your reviews and thoughts about the book on your site. If you would like to interview me, have a guest post or anything else just let me know. Podcasters, I'm always available for interviews.
• Post a photo of yourself with your copy of the book and share on Instagram or Facebook. You have liked the book's page already haven't you?

Any of these things will help me and the book out greatly and I appreciate anything you can do to help.

The key is that physical copies of the book need to be ordered and the world needs to know about it. Anything you can do to help with that is amazing!
