This is going to be an interesting Friday for sure. The power outlet that my whole office revolves around (aka computer is plugged into it) died last night during the storm. Nothing seems to be hurt, but there is no power. So today I'll be on the laptop in the living room all day. Not sure these couches are the best for back support, but we'll see how it rolls. The video from yesterday sure is getting some interesting reactions. Biggest of which is from the PodShow producers saying "shit dude that is what the campaign is all about?" I'll say that internal communications at that, and most companies is the worse thing going. I've commented on it before and it's never gotten better. Could yesterday be the first step towards that being better? We all talk to each other all the time, so you might as well do it too. *grin*
Wow, I just realized I'm in a bit of a snarky mood today. Must be the early morning Twitters from my bud Eric Rice this morning that got me going. Either that or me finding out that there is a huge Canon Lens sale
Open house on Sunday while we are at a BBQ so hopefully that will lead to some interest. Of course it also means a massive cleaning session tomorrow both in and outside. We have been doing a great job keeping the house clean, but it always needs another cleaning.
Also found out that I'm going to have two days off next week which I am hoping to spend dedicated to working on the book. Unplugged and writing. That is the plan. Will it happen? Most likely not, but I'm going to try my hardest to spend this time focused on something that I haven't had the time to focus on. Writing and perhaps taking pictures. Hmmm....we shall see.
